Brian Taylor
General Manager, Co-Founder

Brian honed his leadership skills over 15 years with Thomson Learning, where he held a number of executive management positions. Brian was also COO and co-founder of netTrekker, an academic search engine that helped 11 million students safely search the Internet. With a strong background in content and software development, Brian enjoys the challenge of organizing and leading great teams that collaborate and innovate to solve important customer problems. He also has a passion for lifelong learning, and an appreciation for technologies that make education more accessible, fulfilling, and safe. Brian has a BA from Judson University, an MBA from Xavier University, and executive education from Columbia University.

Greg Estep
CTO, Co-Founder

Greg is renowned for the development of pioneering web-based technology applications for education. His engineering innovations have garnered numerous awards and recognitions from USA Today, WSJ, and Technology & Learning. Greg was the Chief Technology Officer at Hobsons, and the publisher of CollegeView and CareerView. He also designed the architecture for netTrekker, the nation's leading academic search engine, which is now a market standard. As COO, Greg has implemented new business systems and management tools to help Scenario Learning maximize operational efficiencies. He has a BS in Information Systems from the University of Kentucky.

Erin Castrucci
Director, Creative Services

Erin is an experienced leader in implementing global learning solutions. With a strong background in instructional design and technology-enabled learning, her focus is to lead a team of creatives in the development of courses that provide a robust and media-rich experience for the learner. Erin strives to share her passion for video production and emerging technologies to create award-winning learning solutions at Scenario Learning. Erin has a BFA in Electronic Media from University of Cincinnati and an MS in Executive HR Development from Xavier University.

Product Director

Steve is a seasoned educational publishing executive with experience in all facets of content development and instructional design. He began his career as the Business Development Director of Pharos Technologies, a successful venture-funded network software firm. He also was the Publisher of Computer Education at South-Western/Thomson Learning. Steve then became a Product Manager for CNN and many of their education initiatives. He started with Scenario Learning as both a contract editor and author, before joining the business in a full-time role in 2009 as Editor-in-Chief. Steve has a BA from Miami University and a MA from the University of Southern California.

Director, Account Management

Hannah is a talented client services professional and an original member of Scenario Learning’s Account Management Team. For the past several years, Hannah has had the privilege of working directly with our clients, while ensuring successful product implementation and customer satisfaction with thousands of accounts. Under Hannah’s leadership, the Account Management Team has maintained a 95% renewal rate, which is largely a testament to the outstanding customer service her team provides. Hannah graduated from Ohio University with a BS in Organizational Communication and a Management specialization.

Vice President, Marketing

Donna is an experienced education marketer with an unusually good balance of creative and strategic sensitivity. She has enjoyed the good fortune of leading the marketing efforts at a large publisher as well as a high-growth, successful startup named to the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies. Donna is formerly the Director of Marketing Communications for South-Western Educational Publishing as well as VP of Marketing for Thinkronize, developers of netTrekker. Most recently, she led the development and marketing efforts of a new Educator Community for one of the nation's leading assessment providers, eInstruction. Donna has a BSBA and an MBA in Marketing from Xavier University.

Vice President, Business Development and International

Jim has been in the educational technology industry for the majority of his professional career, and was Scenario Learning’s first hire in 2004. Jim led the sales and marketing efforts through the firm’s initial stages of growth, and oversaw our highly-regarded Account Management Team, which is largely responsible for a customer renewal rate of over 95%. Jim now works closely with our strategic partners in his role as Vice President of Business Development and International. He has a BS in Marketing from Miami University in Ohio.

Vice President, Sales

Joel is an experienced education sales executive who has helped companies consistently exceed revenue goals through direct-to-district selling and strategic distribution partnerships with Apple, Dell, Scantron, BrainPop, and many others. His philosophy of putting the customer first has helped him establish key relationships with district and state level administrators and key consortia, always delivering solutions that meet their unique needs, with renewal rates of over 95%. He was formerly the Vice President of Sales for netTrekker, a startup named to the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies, as well as for Hobsons. He holds a BA in Social Science from Carthage College and post-graduate work in School Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Chuck Phillips
Vice President, Software Development

Chuck is an expert in system architecture and software development. He leads the Programming Team and has been instrumental in the design and development of the company's product portfolio, including the flagship product, SafeSchools Training. Chuck's ability to move from needs analysis, to product design, to successful implementations quickly and cost-effectively has been a key factor in the company's ability to consistently deliver high quality solutions that meet customers' needs. Chuck has a BS in Systems Analysis from Miami University in Ohio.
